The Midnight Woods is the westernmost region of the Land of Light, and is a region shrouded in floral greens and burgundy-leafed trees. The Divine Path also houses a vast library that covers part of the path up the steep, tall mountains. The Hierophanten was eventually defeated by the Drifter. In reality, the Hierophant was a fraud, two smaller birds hiding inside of one huge priest's robes. The cult invaded the Divine Path, lead by the religious fanatic upstart known as the Hierophant, a massive bird priest who preached a new religion, which involved religious sacrifice. Although said vultures seemed to have supernatural powers of magic that included summoning and firing beams from their hands, all of these powers were produced using advanced technology. At one point the Divine Path was overtaken by a murderous cult of vulture-folk. Its inhabitants are famous for their religious beliefs and customs. The northernmost region of the Land of Light, it leads up into high mountains inhabitants by multiple different species of humanoid bird peoples. The Overgrowth, the land which Hyper Light Breaker is going to be set in, is located somewhere on the World of Light, though where is unknown, whether it is on one of the landmasses shown in the world map above, somewhere beyond the confines of it, or if it has not been charted yet or is going to somehow appear mysteriously.Ĭontinents Land of Light Divine Path

The continents are spread out in four major seas, these being the Broken Sea to the west, the Rusted Sea to the north, the Blackice Sea to the south-east, and the Sea of Dreams in the south-central part of the world. Each continent is made up of multiple different larger lands or regions. There are six major continents on the planet, these being the Land of Light, the Northern Realms, the Dreadiron Empire, Subtherma, the Shattered Kingdom, and The Shroud. The World of Light is the planet on which the story of Hyper Light Breaker, as well as Hyper Light Drifter, is set, the latter having taken place strictly on the continent known as the Land of Light.
